It was written and storyboarded by Olivier Jean-Marie. In this episode, Zig tries every trick in the book to reach, cook and eat Marina, the mermaid. But no matter how smart his schemes are, Sharko keeps outsmarting him. But no matter how smart his schemes are, Sharko keeps outsmarting him. Plot In the ocean, near a volcanic island, a mermaid named Marina is singing to her sea creature buddies, when she picks up a sea turtle, then gives it a kiss and the turtle gave a ring to her, and she throws the turtle away and puts on the ring. The camera zooms to a brown hyena named Zig on the island who wants to eat Marina. Zig attempts to swim through the water towards Marina, however, he bumps into the dorsal fin of a great white shark named Sharko who tries to beat him up, but he got away, then begins chasing Zig, he finds land then jumps onto it and he sticks his tongue out thinking he got away, but Sharko slices the part of the island with his dorsal fin then Zig sinks. Sharko beats him up and Zig walks with his rib cage exposed. Marina grabs a fish and blows it like a balloon, sending the fish flying, and she laughs. Zig's next attempt is making a shark's dorsal fin out of a seal's blubber and disguises himself as a shark fin then jumps into the water, with his crab friend Bernie watching confused. Suddenly, Zig gets distracted and fooled by what looks like a female hyena in the water, so he tries to fall in love with her, but Zig realizes that he was kissing Sharko's dorsal fin, and Sharko chews his body into a furball and throws it back onto the shore, and Zig groans in agony. Zig's third attempt is to launch a coconut tree to catch her, but he gets slammed by the tree, and groans in agony. He tries again by wrapping around the tree and launching into the air, but unfortunately, he gets hit by Sharko's tail, then hits Marina's rock and he sinks into the ocean. Zig's fourth attempt is making two water shoes out of two seals' blubbers. He walks onto the water where Sharko's fin surrounds him and he sticks his tongue laughing at Sharko, but the water shoes causes Zig to loses his balance, where Sharko grins at him and Sharko beats him up into a swirly rolling thing. Zig's fifth attempt is hitting millions of fish out of the water with his stick which he accidentally throws it onto Bernie's head, and brought out a gas helium tank, then Zig manages to blow the gas helium into their mouths and bloated them as balloons. As he glides across the sky, this gives Sharko a chance and throws numerous sea urchins, causing the fish balloons to pop, and makes Zig fall down into the lagoon, and he beats him up into a rope. Marina lifts a crab, she tickles it, and pokes the crab's eyes, making her giggle. Zig's last attempt is making a weird machine where he forces monkeys, parrots, gorilla and other animals to do it, where it moves the island towards Marina, and he tries to catch her, but Sharko the shark stops him by lifting up the whole island, but Zig holds on, but Sharko shakes Zig and chews Zig into a piece of gum. Marina gives Sharko a snack of a starfish, and Sharko eats it before they both leave, while Zig still is dying out of hunger, so he ends up chasing Bernie, and the episode ends...
