"A cargo ship crashes on the island with an elephant on board. Zig has a zillion ideas of how to capture the mermaid thanks to his new oversized ally. The elephant, however, soon gets fed up with the hyena’s hysterical plans and balks…"
Plot
The episode begins with the captain's cargo ship crashing onto the island. A crate almost falls on Zig, but just as he laughs at his fortune, the door falls open on top of him, and out comes an elephant, trampling him. While hurt, Zig decides to use the pachyderm to get an advantage for catching Marina (who throughout the episode plays many msuical instruments to entertain her friends) and orders Bernie to go get him. Once the elephant comes, Zig is able to bribe him into helping the hyena by feeding him a banana.
Zig kickstarts his elephant-related schemes by having him use his very long trunk to extend him all the way towards Marina. On the way to his prey, he passes Sharko, who promptly catches on, comes onto the island, unscrews the elephant's trunk from its nose, and blows through it so hard that Zig flies away from Marina and crashes into the camera lens.
Zig then orders the elephant to ram the volcano as hard as he can, and the force causes it to tip and pour out enough lava into the sea to reach Marina. Sharko notices the impeding danger, and thus uses two wooden swords to contain the lava as it mixes with the salt water to form molten rock, which Sharko reforms into a statue of a man holding a functioning barbecue grill.
Zig has the elephant swing him towards Marina with a rope, but the force sends Zig crashing into Sharko (who loses a chunk of his skin on the back in the process) and into the moon. The elephant then tugs on Zig to bring him back, but he brings the moon crashing back down with him before finally pulling the hyena free- smack into his face.
After reading a book about bats, Zig takes off the elephant's tusks and ears to make a bat costume for himself, before ordering the elephant to shoot him into the skies with his trunk. He then flies towards Marina, with his arch-nemesis nowhere to be found... but Sharko jumps on him from above and traps him underwater. Sharko takes the tusks for himself and puts them in his mouth for a sharper set of teeth before beating him up with them. Zig grumpily trudges back home and gives the elephant his tusks- which are stuck on him- back.
On the end of a seesaw and after taking wind directions, Zig orders the elephant to catapult him towards Marina by jumping on the other end, but the force sends him the wrong way, and he lands in the volcano instead. Zig storms back and takes a different wind direction- of which he will be blown away.
Zig fills the elephant's trunk with enough water to blow him on a surfboard on the waves towards the mermaid. Marina opens an umbrella upon noticing the "rain", causing Zig to land on it. After Marina throws the umbrella away, Sharko uses it as a toothpick before he realizes that Zig is still on it. He then opens the umbrella before mockingly blowing Zig back to the island.
Zig then has the elephant roll on a beach ball towards Marina, with him on top. But Sharko sees them coming from under and performs dolphin-like tricks that nearly cause them to lose their balance. With one powerful volleyball serve, Sharko sends them flying past Bernie and back to the island. The force destroys several trees and causes the ball to pop.
Zig uses the elephant's trunk as a vacuum to bring Marina towards them, but the suction force picks up everything and everyone but Marina, and a loaded cannon that had been laying on the sea floor is soon sucked in, causing both Zig and the elephant to explode. Zig presents to the dismayed pachyderm all that's left of the elephant's trunk in a failed attempt to humor him.
At this point, the elephant had had enough with Zig and his antics, but the hyena bribes him with another banana, so the elephant goes to get Marina personally. Using his trunk as a snorkel, the elephant sends a meddling Sharko away by winding up his tail like a toy before picking up Marina and taking her to the island. Zig and Bernie are elated and prepare a barbecue before asking the elephant to put her on the grill. However, the elephant, disgusted by their intentions, refuses at the very last second to give Marina to them, instead releasing her into the water and sitting on the hyena and hermit crab before they can give chase.
The elephant later on catches another freighter and waves goodbye as he leaves. Zig and Bernie glare at him for his betrayal, but as they recover, an angry Sharko comes onto the island and beats Zig and Bernie to a pulp as they are still buried in the sand as one final insult to injury, as the episode ends with the hyena screaming in pain.
